I love Texas.

I love that people will let you out into traffic with a smile and a wave.

I love that everyone asks you how you are doing, and that they tell you to have a nice day.

I love that little kids are taught to say "Yes ma'am" and "No ma'am."

I love that you can drive for a whole day and still be inside Texas - although you might be in another time zone.

I love that in just about every class I've ever taken, I've come out with a new friend.

I love that although I am preparing myself to explore the world in the next few years, Texas will always be home to me.
